Our mission is centered on enhancing the oral health outcomes of Montanans by fostering collaboration and inter-professional partnerships.
Volunteer Opportunities
There are volunteer opportunities for everyone, regardless of your experience, or skill level. Successful clinics require dental professionals as well as people to help support them to make our clinics run smoothly.
Professional services are provided by:
● Dentists provide clinical expertise and treatment in either our mobile dental clinics or via teledentistry
● Registered Dental Hygienists deliver preventative dental services and education
● Dental Assistants provide essential clinical support Community
Outreach needs are met by:
● Educators who conduct oral health education sessions in schools and community centers.
● Community Advocates who raise awareness and foster community engagement
Our clinics also need event volunteers to:
● Volunteers are needed at outreach events, fundraisers, and community gatherings. We need your enthusiasm and your sincere desire to help others, whether in your community or a nearby community.
What to Expect
You will attend a volunteer orientation session to understand SAM's mission and protocols.
We understand busy schedules so there are both short-term and long-term commitments available to meet your availability.
